I am really lucky to have great clients. This home, in the Pocket area of Sacramento, had a couple of challenges and it took some teamwork to sell it. For example, when it came time for inspections, we had quite a surprise. The inspector found a lack of insulation in the attic above the master bedroom using infrared technology and there was no attic access. Two bids to add the insulation came in at nearly $2,500. The home was built in 2014 so my clients reached out to the builders, B and B Homes. They were fantastic! From start to finish, it took them a week to add insulation to the attic, then patch and paint the master bedroom ceiling, all at no cost. The real mark of a business is what they do when the job is done. B and B Homes could not have done any better. They made the process easy.
The other real challenge was trying to sell this home during the pandemic. There was a lot of interest in the house, until the lock down order was put in place and we could not show homes. We even had a buyer decide not to make an offer due to the order. The day after we were told that we could show homes again, the same buyer came back with an offer contingent on selling their home. Their home was not even on the market yet. About 45 days later, the deal was done. Happy buyers! Happy sellers! Teamwork! Sold!
