I'm #24 in this fun little piece about age-related purging: junk mail! BUT Imma gonna go bold - you can start purging junk mail at ANY age. Let your toddler have it for coloring paper, get the habit started young. I use mine as kindling in my fireplace.

But the thought crossed my mind, and now I'm going to see if I can't find some answers, "Who is more afflicted by junk mail? American households, or American businesses?"

 Hi Lauren Williams, CPO, CVO I open my mail on the counter that has a trash compactor built into it.... I open the compactor and then open my mail.... 99% goes into the trash.... there are days when 100% goes there....

Barbara Todaro Oh, I like that. I often use my as kindling in my fireplace. Or I used to shred it and then my municipality let you put it out in leaf bags for collection as compost. Lauren
