Hey All!
I just wanted to tell you more about San Diego. As I told you in the past, besides the wonderful beauty around with the Ocean, the Mountains, the desert, there are all sorts of events going on.
Like Last Friday nite, I went to a Bar in Solana Beach called The Bellyup Bar! Great place to hear music.
We got to see 2 really good bands, The Silent Comedy and The Young Dubliners. Both bands were terrific, and the atmoshpere was perfect. The Belly Up is a large bar that can hold 600 or so people.
It has a large standing area, but there are also seats with ledge tables that face toward the stage. I don't know for sure how many bars there are, but I think there are 4-5 plus an upstairs VIP section that I didn't get to see.
I highly would recommend this place to go hear music. It is just the right place to go, plus the ages of the people there ranged from the 20's to the 60's, with most that I saw being in their 30's.
This coming Saturday, I plan on going to the Julian Blues/jazz fest, which is an all day event. But again
I am looking forward to hearing some good music, enjoying the local area and having a GREAT Saturday.
