Summer Solstice | The First Day of Summer

We are approaching the first day of summer. This day is known as the . It depends where you live, as to the timing of the first day of summer. In the USA and the rest of the northern hemisphere, summer starts on (June 20^th or 21^st). In Europe it's June 21. In Australia it's six months later, on December 21. On this day of the year the Sun is at its north farthest point.
