I have had a great year this year and today it will get even better.
Junk Jaunt is back and it will be crazy as people are itching to get out and about!!
Every year on the last week of September in central Nebraska, people come from far and wide peddling old trinkets and out dated furniture, decor, and the likes.
And we have fun both seeing people we know and meeting new folks. "Negotitating" the price of a 55 year bowl for instance...can get intense. Old windmill blades are always popular or the hood of anything pre-1966.
Food vendors....great homemade items such as kolaches...and pie...and tacos...burgers...chili...grandms cookies...cakes...and Bread...not a day to Diet!
The looped route is over 200 miles long. Heck...even the book of locations 
is over 100 pages and there will be twice as many vendors as those that pay to advertise.
The 3 day event is always a fun fall festival atmosphere in over 25 communities.
Not sure what we will buy but the backseats are out of the Suburban today...so we have room for something(s)!! Gotta go...there are already folks on the road!!
Ohhh...did I mention I will be wearing a company shirt with my name and logo and will have a pocketful of business cards? Yep a captured audience for my flapping jaw!!!
