Real good post with a really neat set of thoughts about being focused and staying the full race. Thank yoiu.
Great idea Candis! I look forward to reading the first mini-series on friday.
L. Wayne - Thanks... I am looking forward to developing these ideas and finding a little it of inspiration :)
Misty - Thanks Misty. My goal for the series is to help people seek out new ideas and strategies before losing hope in a tough market.
Another good model is Einstein.
I am trying to read a book called "How to think like Einstein" by Scott Thorpe.
Each little chapter is an opening to challenge constructively the status quo, to look for new things out there, to see that asking the question a different way or asking a different question might give the breakthrough idea.
Both men are good models for us regular humans.
Thanks,
Richard
Richard - How funny that you mention that book! I just bought the exact book for my husband a little over two weeks ago (he had one about how to think like DaVinci, so I figured the Einstein book was a good follow up). And you're right, Einstein's life and determination are also a great model for trying different and out of the "norm" things. Thanks for stopping by!
It is a good book. I have not been able to get through it, because the book itself prompts so much reflection with each chapter. But also Active Rain has distracted me, and prompted me to read about the internet and SEO.
Please let me know what your husband thinks as he reads through it.
Davinci is one of my heroes. I will have to look that book up. Did not know about it.
Thanks,
Richard
Thats why the man was a genius
