Thursday, Oct. 1

LOVE NEW FISH IDEAS COOKING CLASS: 2 p.m. at Somethin's Cookin', 93 E. 11th St., Panama City with owner Hannelore Holland preparing a shallot-crusted grouper with roasted Brussels sprouts and a crusty baked spinach and Bibb salad with bacon followed by a chocolate ganache torte. Friday, Oct. 2

ROY CRECELIUS GOLF TOURNAMENT: 8 a.m. registration, 9 a.m. shotgun start at Panama Country Club in Lynn Haven. Hosted by the Central Panhandle Association of Realtors and benefiting the Friends of Clifford Chester Sims State Veteran’s Home. Enjoy a fun golf game, prizes, raffles, breakfast, a Bloody Mary bar and a 19th Hole After Party benefiting Haney Technical Center. CAMP HELEN PUMPKIN PATCH: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. hrough Oct. 31, or until sold out, at Camp Helen State Park, 23937 Panama City Beach Parkway, Panama City Beach. This year, the annual pumpkin patch will have social distancing measures in place. Everyone is encouraged to stay 6 feet apart and only handle pumpkins being purchased. Signage will be placed throughout the park with safety guidelines. If you feel ill, please wait and visit when you are well. Most of all, have fun, take a lot of pictures, and enjoy the park. GRAND LAGOON WATERFRONT FARMERS MARKET: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays year-round off Thomas Drive in the parking lot at Capt. Anderson’s, 5551 N. Lagoon Drive, in Panama City Beach with products from local makers, bakers and growers; dog-friendly. Details: 850-481-6848

EASTPOINT ARTISANS MARKET: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. EDT on the first and third Saturday of each month at 100 U.S. 98 in Eastpoint. Enjoy a cup of coffee, freshly baked treat and shopping. Local artisans will be showing jewelry, fiber arts, photography, glass, furniture, silver and much more. Stock up on locally grown produce, eggs, honey, jelly, bread and other items.

LOBSTER AND MORE COOKING CLASS: 10:30 a.m. at Somethin's Cookin', 93 E. 11th St., Panama City with Chef Konrad Jochum, aka the "Lobster Man" at Schooners. Originally from Berlin, Germany, Chef Konrad spent several years in Key West before coming to Panama City Beach.
