Decorating can be expensive especially when you’re aiming for a magazine-worthy room. You have to consider buying rugs, furniture, mirrors, and another home décor that can bring additional beautification to your room. Doing a make-over to small spaces might be quite challenging especially when you’re someone who owns a lot of stuff. It may seem like your choices are a little bit confined and might be limited but there are ways on how to make your tiny space look like a million bucks without damaging your wallet.

Here are 3 tips and tricks we can share on how you can decorate your small bedroom.

CHOOSE FOR THE SIMPLE THEME. Keep your layout simple and well-organized. No matter how much you invest in expensive furniture, if you’re room is dirty and messy, it won’t look good at all. Get rid of everything unnecessary or the things that you don’t use anymore. As you have limited space, maximize it to the things that you use. Decluttering gets you more extra space for other useful things and decorations.

CHOOSE YOUR DECORS WISELY. A luxurious, thick blanket adds a style to your flooring. Choose a thick blanket that is made of fuzzy wool, silk, velvet, or faux fur. Remember to stick with a solid color or maybe an animal print. Adding a bedside lampshade might also help. Choosing metallic or golds can help you make your room expensive plus, it can brighten up your space.

UPGRADE YOUR FURNITURE. If you are someone who is very sentimental and you don’t want to get rid of the furniture that has meaningful value to you, upgrading them would be the easiest and most practical way of saving them instead of buying new ones. Re-painting and replacing it with new hardware might to the job. Adding luxurious pillows, bedside lampshades, or maybe a mounted TV can have a big impact on the elegance of your room.

Extra tip: You can also create hidden storages. As you want to make your room look neat and organized, shelves and extra rails will be an effective way to store the extra stuff that you don’t want to be seen.

If you’re on a budget, these tips might help you with your small bedroom make-over. Your bedroom is your sanctuary where you spend most of your time. Making it look at its best will make you feel comfortable and more relaxed.
