So, the right is my obvious choice (but, with an added chandelier)!

Well since you asked . . .

I'd go for door number 3, a hybrid of the two.

The left is too cluttered, but the right is a little too minimalist.

So let's add the slightest bit of color or 'life' to the right side and call it good!
