We received a lot of feedback from you all regarding accessory dwelling units (ADUs), which we touched on in one of our recent videos. In our current environment, more and more parents are looking for spaces for their children to be able to concentrate and focus, or a separate office space for themselves so they can get work done more efficiently.

A typical mother-in-law unit or any other ADU not attached to a house is really desirable right now and comes with a lot of benefits. There are costs, restrictions, and tax considerations to take into account before making your decision, but many investors have been adding ADUs to increase their cash flow and it’s becoming a popular topic in the real estate community.

As always, if you have further questions about this or any real estate topic, don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We’d love to help you.
