I have owned my home in the Cottages At Coffeepot since 2003. No home has ever sold for over $1 million dollars.  Just in the last month, 2 of these townhomes went on the market for $1,099,000 and $1,150,000 and both are in contract within days and hours of being on market. I would never have thought this possible just 3 months ago!

Hi Kathy Schowe, I am very familiar with your area from my years living in Riverside County. Our playground was the entire Palm Springs area in summer and winter. Like Phoenix Metro, your area does not mirror the rest of the country so it will be interesting to see how your market inventory grows.

Hi Endre Barath, Jr. - That is just it! Lack of inventory does not seem to be hampering the market at all. It is generating higher prices. Buyers are in a frenzy, and agents are using different approaches to find homes before they hit the MLS.

Hello Sheri - as a note separate from the intent of your post, isn't it amazing that we can often see up-to-date reports/presentations on our own time versus the actual meeting time/location. I know this has been in existence for some time but it seems that events of this year have expanded it.

I'll take a look at the video, Sheri. I've always been impressed with what I have seen from Altos Research.

I don't think we are going to see much of a shift in the market this fall - we sure haven't yet. Time will tell!
