How to keep your Buyers

Are your Buyers looking for more than a reasonable priced home. Do they ask why should I buy from you? What will you give me if I buy from you?

Well now you can offer them a Home Security System that will call them if anyone enters their home when they are not there.

Do you think they will be looking for another Realtor who may find the same house but cannot offer them Protection of their Home too?

Interesting tactic Gary. I guess whatever it takes in this business to keep buyers loyal, but I would hope they would work with me because of my knowledge, character and skills and not a product.

Offering incentives are a time old tradition. I also hope they want to work with me because of ME! I strive to be the best for my clients!

Sounds interesting but I suspect buyers would tell me they could get their own monitoring system and would want to know what services I offer that may beneifit them in house hunting since that's why they would hire me.

My post was to offer an extra incentive beside the knowledge and time that any good(great) real estate agent would offer. Whether, anyone believes it or not. Most agents offer the same thing to buyers. We are all trained on how to work with buyers. It doesn't matter if you have a CRS, ABR, or anyother title. We have only so much to offer and any extra little or large thing that we can use to attact buyer will help us.

Most agents will give a home warming gift to the buyer after the sale. This could be that gift.

So the services that one agent offers will not be that much different than another agent. The training to obtain titles only helps you understand the business better. Oh, and you can use it to impress sellers and buyers on how much you know. But, I found that if you listen to your clients and attempt to find what they ask you too. That you will not need to impress them with your titles.

That is why I suggested offering something different. It just a tool to use with your services

I like your idea, you are trying to set yourself apart from the other agents. I offer the 1 year home warranty but am interested in this idea as well.

Like Linda, I offer a 1 year home warranty. I like it better and buyers are more receptive to it than the seller offering them their car, boat or a cruise (what if they don't like water?). The home alarms sounds great! LOL, I would like to try this on my own home and see how often my cats and dogs would set it off going in and out of the doggy door...........

These alarms can be placed at a height above doggie doors and other animals that walk on the floor or jump on the couch. Now I own a cat and he can jump on my counters , but I do not believe I have ever seen him at the height of five feet. LOL. Now I am not sure if he can, but so far he has not. So if you placed the alarms at five feet you will have a lot less false alarms. Being a retired Police Officer in my twenty years I never investigated a break in where the criminal crawled though the building . LOL

I have other alarms that take pictures that you can check to see what is going on in your home. You can set them to how many pictures you want a minute to be taken. Trying to be a little different than the rest. while still offering the same as everyone else will always make you stand out.

Times are hard , people are noticing more crimes being comitted. Offering a little safety is the right thing to do. You will be noticed.
