🙋‍♂️How do Plants Help Your Home?

Cannot imagine a space without plants of flowers. They do so much for your mood and feelings.

Plants can bring joy and a softening effect to home if done right. It can be a positive distraction and relieve stress but can also be an over kill so choosing wisely is always the key.

Brian England - This is a post I can really appreciate! House plants thrive when people care for them like they are members of God's creation. I never thought of them as positive distractions until you mentioned it! The one I have in my home office is something I really appreciate. It's amazing what just the right amount of water and sunshine can do for both plants and humans. 

Indoor plants also improves the air quality inside our homes and offices. I like that they don't bark, meow, tweet, need to be walked on a lease, or cleaned daily or every other day like a kitty litter box.

We also enjoy having cut flowers in our home. Dahlias are currently on display.

Brian England - Roy Kelley is absolutely right! Whenever I need a pick-me-up I get cut flowers out of my garden or favorite floral shop. 

I just cut some dahlias a few minutes ago to display in the kitchen for Chef Dolores.

Brian, I don't have space for too many plants, but have three right now.  I have purchased two rosemary plants, but they only last one year, so didn't replace it this year.

Brian plants make a big difference in brightening up a home, but they do not seem to last long in my house.

Hi Brian- your post reminded me of a home I consulted on...lovely older couple with an extremely clean and edited home. It was kind of blah. As I looked around, it occurred to me that there was not a single plant anywhere. Plants bring a home to life and add a layer of texture to a home. 

Some day maybe... but for now my cats don't much let me have them.  I have one in the kitchen window.
