Tree houses are a common play area for children in rural areas all across the world. Though most of these sparse houses are limited in size and usually one to three rooms, not all tree houses fit this mold. The largest all wood tree house in the world is built amongst the lime trees in Northumberand County, UK. The tree house is 6,000 square feet and includes cottages, shops, a restaurant, play area and walkways. There is even a deck area and rope bridge behind the house. Talk about luxury…in a tree!

Great pictures.  I remember an email that used to float around the Internet with pictures of a bunch of other tree houses similar to this.

Now I have something to shoot for.  The construction of my 6,001 square foot tree house begins tomorrow.

That's gorgeous, Veronica!  We have some pretty cool ones around L.A.  Here where I live, we have regular homes with oak trees going right up through the living room.  (Of course, you can't do that anymore)

Note to Paul:  Keep in mind that squirrels are known to get nasty when served an eviction notice.

VERONICA - Where do you find this great stuff?  First the unique hotel in China and now this?  I never had a treehouse before, but I wouldn't mind moving into this one myself.
