HELP HELP HELP..........with Citi Mortgage !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Fort Myers & The Islands

I am in the midst of 2 short sales and need some information on contacts for Citibank.

I need some contact names, numbers and titles of people who work for Citibank. I have been dealing with a group of people in the St. Louis area and have had a terrible experience.

If you are willing to share contact information but do not want to let it be known where the contact names & numbers came from, I will keep my lips sealed. I just need to get my clients taken care of.

Thanks,

Hi Kimberley, I am going through the same long drawn out process with citi mortgage. If I give you a number all you will get is an answering machine.

citimortgage is the absolute worst lender to work with on ANYTHING.  Stay away from them at all costs.

Hi Kimberly,

I just posted a blog today asking for info or advice on dealing with Citimortgage.  I am about to do a short sale listing and they are the bank. I'll be keeping on an eye on your blog to see any updates.  I would appreciate any insight you could give me.  Thanks.

I have had the worst experience ever with Citi. They were the ABSOLUTE WORST! They seemingly want their own personal pound of flesh out of each seller. They need to toughen up and realize fifty cents on the dollar is far better than the thousands it costs foreclose on the home in addition to the deluge of homes and the market equates to even less than the fifty cents they were offered.

Best of luck to you. If you happen to get a loss mitigator named April,  prepare for a long tough haul.

Wells aint to easy to deal with either.......   property management departments where bank owned and short sales houses go within large banks are terrible -  overworked and undewr qualified staff who can't make a decision without the approval of someone else... which is why these processes take so long.....   I always reccomend my clients to consider a house that has been listed for a while vs a short sale or foreclosure...   just my experience.

Nightmare - Horrible experience.  Wasted 5 months and too many hours to count.  They made it impossible and then just quit communicating - wouldn't return calls or emails.  Under qualified negotiator  - totally wasted my time.  Didn't try to help or advise.  All he could say was "it's at the investors".   I don't know how anyone get's these things done -especially with 2 banks - the 2nd was with Bank of America and they have been infuriating as well.  No denial from them either - they just sent the account to collections without communicating with me.  The Seller really wanted to do the right thing and not just walk away.  Why bother?

Citi bank needs to hire some more help by the time they get to you the property value has gone down another 6%. I call them long sales as it takes them so long to respond. I have one in Stockton,California which has a very high amount of short sales and REO'S. It is really hard to understand that they don't have more urgency to respond.
