Boo Hoo: Today we have a Trifecta!
In case you did not know it is Halloween with a Covid Pandemic Twist. Fewer people have decorated, and fewer people have been going around Trick or Treating. Truly a shame that this great Amrican Tradition for children and adults has been so sadly affected.
One of our neighbors who used to spend two to three weeks decorating his house and creating a haunted house has not done it this year, for obvious reasons, FEAR of the Pandemic. Neither did we, even though Diane & I always looked forward to seeing the neighborhood kids as well as strangers. Looking at the happy smiles of the children and their parent will be missed. Now the good news is do not Fear the Real Estate Market, here in Los Angeles is amazingly moving at full speed with a few exceptions.
Then to boot did you know today, there is a Full Moon? Clearly it is a good thing that many of the crazies stayed at home today. If you love history the last time there was a Full Moon on Halloween, well it was 76 years ago, but who is counting? Just to be clear it is a Blue Moon and the last time it was in 1944.
I would be remiss if I did not mention, today there is also the Time-Tested Tradition, that I have hated for the past four or five decades. That is the Tradition of setting the clocks back. FYI not only do I dislike it, but so do our Pets, no one told them that Breakfast and Dinner will be served later than usual by at least an hour or so. Tonight, is Day Light Savings Time and we all get an extra hour of sleep if our pets allow it!
So not wanting to leave you with all the bad news, let me tell you the good news. Normally these events do not happen on the same day. Usually we get tortured three different days, so we are lucky today is a Trifecta all three will be done by the end of today.
