Motivational Monday...A Child’s Joy
There’s something magical in a child’s joy. This is especially evident on Halloween.
This weekend, we had a handful of our neighbor’s children who came by to Trick or Treat. I was ready for them and couldn’t wait to see their costumes.
The sheer joy that comes from a child when they experience the simplest things is priceless. I had bagged assorted candy with individually wrapped Cheryl’s Cookies. Watch the short video to the end to see how excited the Treaters got. The young girl brought such a huge smile to my face...I’m still smiling.
Take a moment to remember what it was like for you to be so excited like that...where joy is bursting inside you.
Sometimes the smallest things take up the most space in your heart. Pooh Bear.
We’ve had some difficult months but we’re thrivers and survivors. If you can, look for things, places, or people who bring joy to your life...and run to them!!!
Play isn’t something separate from the daily grind of life.
It is not something to finally get to when work ends.
Rather, play, like music, is a force that we feel in our bones,
and that whispers in our hearts.
As kids demonstrate, play is not over there,
but forever here and now. Vince Gowmon
