Hello Brian - wow - the highest gain in prices during August in over six years - that's good news.  I wouldn't expect that during the heat of summer.  That says a lot about real estate in your area.

The summer was definitely different this year Michael Jacobs even in the short-term rental business our owners saw a 30% increase in their revenue this summer compared to last summer.

Brian I would expect home prices to continue to rise as long as this HOT sellers market continues.

I would as well George Souto and I have never seen them drop in the 11 years I have been in real estate.

Hi Brian- I think the longstanding normal rise is about 4% per year or something like that. I have no problem with that, as long as we don't go back to the sharp unrealistic rises we had that led to 2007 and 2008.

I agree Kathy Streib a steady increase is what is best for everyone and I don't like to see large increases or decreases.
