His  contribution was one of a long lasting feat. 

That is interesting and definitely a large and well-known company.  If they don't start making electric cars then I think their business will fall by the wayside, haha.

Loosely translated "Mitsubishi" means 3 diamonds and I believe we can all relate to that. Thank you for posting it James!

I had no idea Mitsubishi was that old. Interesting read - he unfortunately died way too early. What else might he have accomplished?

Wow I had no idea, and what a struggle to where he got, clearly keeping an eye on the future, Endre

Akira Iwasaki used to work for me. A well likely guy likes to be called Aki.  He told me he found out his mom was a picture bride ordered from Kusho Island as many Japanese Americans did. He was the happiest guy when they offered him $40,000 indemnity being in the interment camp. Aki, How long you stayed behind barbed wires?  One month only. I was born at the camp hospital.  The healthest infant had to cut his stay short going back to California.  

His parents went to 1st California TV show lottery and won $50,000 plus the $80K added from US government. His dad said playing Ko game at the camp is easy. Picking California strawberries are back breaking. They sold their urban farm not far from Google campus. 

Very interesting to find out the origin of one of the biggest companies in the world. Thank you, James Dray
