Plan to have some Hudson River fun this summer

This summer I am sure with the existing economic conditions many will be vacationing closer to home. Living in the Hudson Valley is a blessing because there is so much beauty around us.

I have put together a show which highlights just a few fun activities that can be enjoyed on the banks of the Hudson River or on the Hudson River. Here is hoping this will get you thinking about things to do this summer.

Jennifer, The video is lovely.....and made me realize how much I miss Mountains! There is something very special about upstate New York and I miss spending time there.

Jennifer - you certainly make an enticing peaceful weekend by the water. Olana seemed quite interesting - you should write about it and submit it to the group Buildings Architecture and Dings.

Jennifer close to home sounds good to me. I think you are right the high gas prises are going to get people to think twice about where they go.

Hi Jennifer - in another time in my life, I spent a good amount of time boating on the Hudson River. I always enjoyed that time on the river there, exploring that whole area.

Paddy - There is so much to do locally. I love Norrie Point because I can get down to the water and I love watching the boats barges and most of all the sunset. Then top off the day by having dinner at a restaurant on the river.

Charles - Thank you. I love the virtual tour it is just the right length, and Jeff Turner listens to the consumer and is continuously enhancing the product.

Monika - You would not be disappointed, there is a lot to see.

Kim - I would love to see you, and one of these days I would like to see your beautiful area.

Carole - You are so close ,you could even do a day trip.

Sharon - Thank you. I did post some picture during the fall but will do an update.

George - Adjustment will be made in all aspect of life. My biggest concern is heating oil this winter, I am hearing $5 per gallon, that is going to hurt.

Gary - Thank you. Taking a cruise on one of the tour boats is well worth it.

Patrice - This is in your backyard so go for it!

Ann - So you understand why I love the area.

Jennifer, I really liked that one! I have been doing some real estate and community tours for about eight or nine months, but this gives me some more ideas about the types of things not just that I can put together in a show, but the types of things that people are interested in.
