I hosted and taught the Web 2.0 Class. It was a true success. Every agent in attendance found a real value. The tough part is actually getting them to implement the technology into their business plan. This is necessary to reap the rewards of the Web 2.0 platforms- and there are many. This is why GreatWest GMAC real estate has adopted a business model of providing the business to our agents. We feel that providing the business to our agents through these Web 2.0 platforms, will help them and us get to the next level. The next level is a real estate environment in which, a real estate company stays in business or folds, do to its ability of generating business through mulitple marketing sources. With our buying power, we are able to invest in the Web 2.0 platforms better then the individual agent. This also gives us direct control of our projected revenues, as we rely less on the agent to generate the business. We have come along way in the last 2 years. We are leaps and bounds ahead of our competition in the greater Sacramento area market places.
