Showing Ft. Myers and Estero, Including Koreshan State Park

I'm off agiain today for showings. A very nice lady from Canada and her teenaged daughter, who wants her mom to buy a place where Kayaking is an amenity. Tennis, too. I showed her Luguna Lakes and Sail Harbour in Fort Myers yesterday. She loved Laguna Lakes and the whole complex is NICE.

Today we're off to Estero to check out Villagio and and Bella Terra. If I have time, I'll bring them for a quick visit to Koreshan State Park where there is kayaking.

Location: Corner of U.S. 41 and Corkscrew Road in Estero, Florida

Located along the Estero River (1/2 mile of frontage). There's also the Historic Boomer House. About 26 acres is reserved as a "life estate" so that Nola Boomer can live in the family home for the rest of her life. This is all maged by the State Parks and Recreation Division along with the Lee County Parks and Recreation Department.

The historic Boomer Home was built in 1917 for Berthaldine Boomer who was the Matrona of the Koreshan Unity. She furnished the money to Cyrus Teed that enabled himto journey to Estero and begin the Koreshan settlement.

HHHMMM, I wonder if the "Boome House" is where they got the phrase for 'Baby Boomers"? Nice pictures.

lol Sean, The Boomer house on the property was built in 1917 by the Koreshans for Berthaldine Boomer. Funny. Nola Boomer still lives on the property and am sure she would like to be called a baby boomer.
