The November Challenge is about gratitude, especially in a very trying year.
Post #1 - Gratitude for Clients
1. Client patience...
This year was trying with the virus causing much disruption along with low inventory. This year my buyer clients were very patient 2 of them made several offers before finding a property. One client made 7 offers on 7 different properties before finding their 1st home. They never gave up hope and basically said NEXT! We actually had a good time.
2. Clients Listening...
2020 found seller clients more willing to take advice to make an extra effort to ensure their homes were really ready for the active market.
3. Clients understanding virus adjustments...
Making virus adjustments were awkward at first but clients on both sides of the equation adjusted well to the many adjustments we in the profession presented to them.
4. Technical adjustments - Grateful for technology to serve clients.
Before last March I had never heard of ZOOM much less do a video client meeting. It wasn't a smooth transition for agents or clients but it all worked out. I'm not a techie (just enough to get myself in trouble). But I learned that this old dog traditionalist can still learn a new trick or two...lol
5. Most of all. I am grateful that all my buyer and seller clients were serious about the process and understood that being reasonable in establishing price and making their highest and best offers is the way the game is played these days.
