Getting Bad Odors Out of a Home, Condo or Apartment

It is not unusual for a buyer or seller or even a tenant of a residence to seek a practical way to get odors out of their home.  There may well have been years of accumulation of odors many of which may not have been apparent to the previous occupants.  The reality, however, is that it is not always easy to get the smells reduced or removed entirely.  This situation requires the technology provided by Biosweep CT for a guaranteed purging of nasty, undesirable or nuisance odors.  The Biosweep process will permanently eradicate embedded odors and destroy airborne viruses, surface viruses and bacteria.

These are typically, but not limited to:
Pet odors (urine)
Embedded smoke or cigarettes
Mold
Over-used fireplace
Cooking odors
Mildew

Over years, these smells will not only get absorbed into the furniture, but also window dressing, carpeting and even porosity of the walls and ceilings. Getting them out can get extremely expensive and in worst cases entire homes would need to be gutted with all surfaces replaced.

There are some service companies that will offer to provide some degree of contaminate removal but come up lacking with a permanent solution to tough odors. The Biosweep process provides proven technology in multiple stages consisting of:

HEPA (High Efficiency Particular Air ) for particulate removal. This type of air filter can theoretically remove at least 99.97% of dust, pollen, mold, bacteria and any airborne particles.

This would be followed by a carbon filtration filter which will work to remove organics that would create odors.

Then the it passes through a chamber with  heated UV (ultraviolet) elements which in addition to purifying the air will also generate excess O2, O3,  and O4 some of which bonds with the free H2O molecules to create highly concentrated hydrogen peroxide which permeates the house to destroy solid and odors. As this is a highly concentrated and potentially harmful gas, the house must be vacated during the time that the process is being administered.

The process works on the total cubic footage of the house, starting in the basement trough to the attic. Several of the canisters would be strategically placed in the house and time to  complete the process is determined by the size of the house, usually within 6-8 hours.

Hello Ed - the real estate business is quite sensory.  The "smell test" is one that challenges every prospective buyer.  They may not always say something but it can subtly(or not so subtly) impact their decision to move on to the next step.  Or simply move on to the next property.

LOL....when I was actively working, if a home did not pass the smell test with flying colors, I did not take the listing ..... and I surely would not sell one to a buyer....that was MY RULE...
