Our Christmas Tree is a Tree of Fond Memories

Good morning Roy. We have many ornaments that have a story. My wife knows them all and me only a few. Enjoy your day!

Chef Dolores definitely does a wonderful job with the decorations, you are certainly lucky to have her.

Hello Roy - what a nice collection of Christmas ornaments.  I am sure Dolores is a terrific curator each year.  

We have ornaments on our tree that go back many years.  There are so many emotions that are found when we decorate and take the tree down

It's so nice to tell stories about ornaments on the tree...  This year we are cutting down a tree from our property and decorating with a combination of ornaments that mean something and some that just fill gaps. Haha. I prefer the ones with meaning.

We have a friend whose gift from us is a new ornament.  Last year he was telling us that as he puts up the trees (he does 3 big ones), he remembers each person who gave him one with great fondness.  A

I have always enjoyed our family Christmas tree and now we have our grandchildren make ornaments every year and it is even more special =]

Your post and beautiful tree bring back wonderful memories of years past. to me, ornaments should be full of fond memories.  We have a new tradition to let Tristan pick out a new ornament every year to go on our tree.  Eventually, these will all be his to remember memories of us.

Hi Roy- I love how special your ornaments are!   It's fun as you look at each ornament and it must bring back a memory for you and for Chef Dolores. 

There is something special about revisiting fond memories each year.  When my children were growing up, I bought each of them a Hallmark tree ornament each year.  Then when they began their own homes, they took their ornaments with them.  I often enjoy revisiting those ornaments when I visit during the holidays.
