Days on market has lowered to 31, which is extremely low. Ahwatukee home sales are slightly lower than in September of last year, but remained exactly the same as last month (116). The number of new listings is significantly higher than in September of last year (27.8%). The number of active listings remains lower than September of last year.
The lack of listings continues to drive demand and home prices higher. Home values have increased an average of 10% in the Phoenix Metro area since September of 2019. With interest rates remaining below 3.0%, there are still more buyers looking to purchase heading into the fall.
