This beautiful 80 acres went fast once word was out that it was For Sale by Mach1 Realty!
I have mixed emotions...on one hand it is our job to work for the client and on the other hand I would like to have had another week to see if advertising would have brought us a buyer that wanted to pay more!! On my third hand...I am thrilled for the late owner.
Had I waited the buyer might have rescinded their offer. (See below) 
So I am happy for the Buyer and the Sellers.
This one has a sad note to though...this client and her family have been in my life since somewhere around 9th grade in the last 1960's. The land was owned by Ellen Goerl, Mom of my Best Man...and him and his 7 siblings, who are all good friends.
Although Ellen did not die of covid...she died without all of her children by her side. I never got to say goodbye in the last 8 months...I think she died from a broken heart...and that hurts.
I know many of you have experienced this and I am sad for all of you.
I took the above photo the day in August that we said goodbye to Ellen.
When I was a young buck...we traveled twice to Kansas City from little old St Libory, NE...Ellen with a carload of young ones and us older ones on motorcycles. We even got kicked out of Worlds of Fun for being too rowdy...ahh those were the days.
Time moves on and about 25 years or so ago Ellen acquired this farm and it helped pay her bills for many years. I was honored when the family asked me to be the Listing Broker...and a little nervous as this family means more to me than almost any family I know.
Life has come a long ways for me...for all of us.
I grew up with the oldest ones in this photo...and have watched their children grow and now am watching Ellen's great grandkids sprout.
I will always love and miss you Ellen.
Rest easy knowing the buyer for your farm is nationally known and yet local and the perfect match to carry on your farm legacy. I know your children are excited and proud of who is buying it and so am I.
