We have been living in a fast-paced business environment since the internet and cellphones took over. However, the year 2020 proved to be a huge challenge, especially for realtors. All of these events could possibly put a lot of brokers in an anxious mood, unable to do business as usual. Here are a few things brokers should take up or go back to, in order to be able to keep up with the dynamics:

Improve Client Experience

Clients’ expectations have shifted. There are still a few things that real estate clients want as usual, such as neighborhood expertise and getting a better price. Nevertheless, here are some of the consideration you need to have in order to improve your client experience:

  • Provide more accurate information about the property
  • Be able to promote the property with finesse
  • Provide quick services
  • Be accessible

Ramp Up Listings on Social Media

Sharing listings on your social media, especially Facebook,  is an important step for the effective promotion of your products (i.e. your property listings). Some might take this for granted, but the amount of visibility you can get on social media is not something you should overlook.

To learn more about how to share listings on Facebook effectively, please check out our guide in the following link:

Use Texting With Consistency

Text messages are still one of the most viable and valuable tools to engage your clients. Reports show that a minimum of 20 text messages per week about upcoming events or properties can be really helpful. To spice things up, you can add images and short links to the message.

Check out the following article to find out how SMS marketing will benefit your real estate business:

5 Reasons Why SMS Marketing Will Benefit Your Real Estate Business

Focus on Your Sphere of Influence

The real estate business is fueled mainly by referrals. The best source of referrals is unquestionably your SOI. Your SOI is your friends, family members, and most importantly, your previous happy clients.

The question is how we can possibly benefit from our sphere of influence. The answer is simple. This part of your network is easily approachable. You can call them and discuss your available listings. They are more likely to pick up the phone, share the listings with their friends, and refer you to the right people if needed.

Bottom Line

Most of you might have already tried these approaches in your everyday business activities, but missing elements could possibly limit how effective they are. The right tools can improve the efficiency of these real estate broker practices.

Consistency is key to repeat business, nice post Realtyna. Every savvy industry professional out there should be doing these things already. I use a professional photographer and also use 3-D technology and drone video for listings.
