Those long days.  I remember in the heat of the market in CA a few years ago, I'd work until midnight and maybe longer, sometimes dragging my dedicated assistant along for the ride.... Both of us heading home late at night/early early morning with bloodshot eyes.  But earning the reputation as a valued advisor. 

And yes, even in those days, there were the well meaning friends that would tell the client that now was not the time to buy.... the market couldn't keep going the way it was... Guess those well-intentioned friends were right!  If the client didn't intend to hold the property for any length of time.  Of course, so many buyers in those days were banking on buying and making a fortune in a very short time...
