Attn. Independent Florida Brokers - Are you interested in growing your business?

It's getting close to the launch of The eHomes Realty Network. I figured I would list below the great tools you receive just for being a member of the Network. This membership is only available to Independent Real Estate Brokerages and Teams. We are getting offers a dozen a week. With less money than before, we are getting more careful and less open to new things that are coming.

This is not surprising, and is not anything about your site, I am simply trying to explain how we feel when another offer hits our e-mail.

Costs are very important. Also, I think we have accumulated a lot of training materials, and it would be terrific if we start using what we already have.

Even if your offer is great, you will have to fight for it to set the audience

Hi Jon! I know, I get a dozen offers per week too! That was my purpose for putting together a site that can offer Broker something that actually works! How do I know it works? Last year, using these same tools my Agents (your neighbors in Brevard County!) sold 193 homes using the Internet. Over the past year I have had hundreds of Agents and Brokers from across the country call me and ask me to evaluate their sites, advise them on their Internet Strategy and train them in how to convert a lead. In reality, this company came out of the desire of so many wanting to do better in Real Estate even in a down market and really not having any understanding of the Internet.

I spent close to a half million dollars over the last 7 years mastering the Internet with regard to Real Estate. I spent the 6 years before that becoming an expert in Internet Marketing. My goal is to help Brokers not make the same mistakes and spending errors I made while also offering advice from my 25 years of running companies. Unlike those dozen offers you get weekly, I actually am a Real Estate Broker practicing what I preach!

I also thought very hard about my price point. I wanted to make sure that I kept the cost at something I thought most Brokers could afford yet enough that I didn't get every Broker wanting to join. I don't want to 10,000 members. I am only interested in the Brokerages that really want to take their brokerage to the next level. My system and programs only work if the Broker is commited to change their attitude about Internet Marketing and the "old school" way or doing Real Estate. My goal is to build a strong network of Indepedent Brokerages that will help each other, yet not compete (the reason for only two or three brokerages per county) and help each other grow.

As with most Agents, many Brokers I meet and discuss Internet Programs are stuck in the old Real Estate mentality. They still believe that if you hire Agents and give them a 70% split that they will go out, even in a down market, and make them money. For many I don't see this working right now. As I see many of my Broker friends in my county go out of business, it proves to me more and more that I can and will help a lot of Brokerages. If Brokers are going to stay in business for the long term, they are going to have to start a strong Internet Program. I don't know about others, but I like to know that my Agents are going to bring in revenue because of what I supply them. And they do!

If I wasn't running a company in Melbourne Florida doing exactly what I teach and preach, then I would have no right to offer my advice or my systems. However, we are still profitable, we only have 24 Agents, with 8 of them new within the last 12 months, and I have never lost an Agent to another company (actually I had a business broker who didn't do any business that left). They all enjoy the benefits of my system as well as the daily leads they receive (our melbourne office receives 25-50 leads per day, every day). I have happy, successful Agents who love our programs and I feel it's time to teach the few companies that get involved, how to succeed using the Internet.

I hope that all makes sense for you. I understand these are trying times. Actually, until this market hit, I had no idea my tools were this powerful. Good luck in your Brokerage and if you ever need any advice, don't hesitate to call or email me!
