Ohio's state song is Beautiful Ohio, I am noticing a theme among most of these state songs.
Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young wrote a song called Ohio about the shooting or students protesting the Vietnam War at Kent State by soldiers of the National Guard.
Next up we have Ohio by Marty Falle
Josh Herbert also has a song called Ohio.
Of course for Rocky Dickerson I don't want him to miss Ohio Express playing Chewy Chewy.
And of course Doris Day singing Ohio

Good music as always and the videos certainly reaffirm for me how much beauty there is in each and every state. This is why I don't have much of a desire to travel internationally until I have seen all that I want to see in the USA.
Well growing up in Ohio before moving to Florida I was sure aware of many of these. I attended Kent State and was called home just weeks before the shooting. Can't say I miss living there today.

The second video hits home in our family as my brother is the one laying on the ground shot at Ken State..he is in this video and was on the cover of life. Not protesting..an innocent bystander just let out of his architecture class.
Nick- I began listening to your videos while I comment and had to stop when I read Dorie Dillard CRS GRI ABR comment about her brother. I do remember very well this period in our country's time. And to Dorie, just seeing the video for a second time brought a lump to my throat.
