The real estate business relies on marketing to get from point A to point B. We market who we are; what we do and how well we do it. Marketing takes on many qualities, and it achieves its goals using a variety of paths.
We don’t need to be selling a product to be deemed a marketer. We market throughout the course of a typical day, without realizing that we are marketing.
We market ourselves, when we are in communication with others. The way we live is a marketing event. What we drive is a reflection of who we are and how we think. The way we dress will suggest our comfort level and degree of independence or conformity. Those are all marketing factors.
Our body language is a shout out for each moment during the course of the day. We show respect, disrespect, anger and adornment with our facial expressions, body intensity or total relaxation. Every moment is a marketing moment. At times, it’s with a megaphone or it could be a very subtle whisper.
Do you market with honesty? We’re not talking about the “move in condition” of a home. We’re talking about you. Is it the real you or the staged version?
Just another thought for the moment….It’s a Blessing that these moments are spread out!!!
