What to do about problem neighborhood Kids when trying to sell a home?

I have a few properties listed in decent neighborhoods, but every time I try to show the homes, the neighbor kids come over and bug the potential buyers. I have tried offering little bonuses to them to stay away. I have tried talking with the parents and have been told "Kids will be kids" The scary thing, this happens all hours of the day and night. Who lets their 5 year old run around at 11 pm at night? If I complain I am afraid they will retaliate. HELP??

Here's a good one:  I went into an upscale neighborhood to show a house and low and behold we turn down the street and there is a kid running around the cul de sac naked!!!  The buyer laughed and asked if I took a wrong turn into the projects.  I didn't find it very funny.  I laughed with her but what is going on?  I feel your pain!!

What would the same person with the kids think if it would be their house on the market?

I don't know what the solution is.  School is out now so it's bound to get worse for you.

Pray that the buyer has kids that need friends??

I also had one home (personally) that was totally remodeled in execellant condition and the kids in the neighborhood would not leave it alone. I put alarm systems. I replaced brokern windows 3 times and the police would not do anything. I Even had eyewiteness of who was doing it and the police said "Sorry"  One day I arrived to find the home boarded up with a do not enter as the kids set it on fire. It was a total loss. Then we spent months prooving to the insurance company that we did not set the fire. Thank God I filed police reports everytime there was any damage to the home.
