West Hialeah is the western portion of Hialeah, serving as one of two industrial submarkets in the city. The submarket is split from its eastern counterpart via the Palmetto Highway with W Okeechobee Road, the Ronald Reagan Highway, and I-75 serving as other major thoroughfares lining the submarket's borders. Having several major roadways accessible from the region, the area offers excellent real estate options for businesses looking to establish a presence in the area. West Hialeah also offers a relatively more affordable option, especially when compared to similar neighborhoods in the region.

The city has annexed significant land areas, which now serves as West Hialeah and is prime for significant development thanks to its ample pricing and extensive open land areas.
