Heat Wave in Los Angeles

Wow! I can't remember it being this hot. I am in Santa Monica and my car tempature read 93 at 10:30 this morning. Remember, be very careful with your pets. Give them plenty of water and do NOT leave them in the car. Even 5 minutes is too long in this heat. There was a story of a dog who died being left in the car so just be careful. Let's hope this heat wave passes soon!

Alot of the shop owners here in town put water bowls outside their doors for the dogs that are out walking their humans.

Ginny, I have been reading about your heat wave! Hope you all get a break soon. We had the upper 90's last week and 100% humidity.

At least you guys cool off at nite and get ab breeze now and then. I feels hot here a lot but I guess you get used to it, drink plenty and do not stress. At least we get rain most days that it gets hot.

I too hope we get relief soon. Really, this is incredibly hot for us in Santa Monica. It is really like being in an oven. I just hope this is not reflective of what is coming this summer! Thanks Nancy for your comments.
