Things to Do: New Year's 2020

The party might be a little different this year but that doesn’t mean you have to skip out on the fun.

Decorate: Put lights and decorations on the outside and inside that remind everyone that it is New Years and a celebration. Party Hats, noise makers, and other celebration items can be placed throughout the house for convenience. Bubbles, confetti, and glow in the dark items are always a big hit. Have a message board to remember things about the night or what you are looking forward to in the New Year. Capture moments with a photo station with “accessories” to put on to be fun and festive.

Clock: There should be a clock that is visible so when the time to countdown approaches it will be ready for the big ball drop.

Make Room: Have plenty of space for dancing or playing games to wait out the ball drop.

The main thing to remember is that New Year’s is about being with those you love and having fun celebrating the beginning of a New Year.
