In a previous post, Don't Move the Dog Crate!, I shared some solutions for the problem of what to do about pet crates when staging- attractive end table/kennel combination furniture. The pieces weren't inexpensive and may not be within a home seller's budget.

In searching for other alternatives I ran across this web site and its solution to dressing up regular metal kennels. The options for fabric and trim are limited and the effect may not be for every decor or taste but it does present another possibility for disguising the kennel. Slip covers that allow air circulation may be a possibility that has not been considered. Slip covers, who knew?

Cute - great idea. Although my little monster would entertain herself by trying to eat the fabric, I'm sure!

Lisa, I thought the same thing-the tassels could be a big lure for cats and dogs alike. I have seen this style in magazines, but the custom treatments looked more like the draped tables with toppers that have been around for years. This is the first time I have seen them available online.

Pam, thank you for posting more solutions for the pet dilema. I am not a pet owner, but it is nice to be able to give clients who have pets some ideas.

Pam, you are such the design EXPERT. I didn't even know they had these extras for kennels. You are certainly a master of your craft. Thanks for this!
