I apologise to those of you who have missed these daily posts, but with the holidays I took some time to focus on family and friends. Now, I am back in the seat and we start today where we left out moving North from New York to Vermont.

These Green Mountains is the State song for Vermont. Composed by Diane Martin and arranged by Rita Buglass Gluck, it was made official on may 22, 2000.

Coming home to stay remembers and honors those who served in the military from Vermont.

Not a lot of choices for songs featuring Vermont, but did come across this Frank Sinatra song moonlight in Vermont.

I also cameacross this poem Song of Vermont set to music featuring lovely photos of the state and historic sites.

Brian England I did enjoy my time away and was also busy with work at year end, so was a little pre-occupied.
