Romans 7:15

“I do not understand what I do for what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do.”

If you ever find yourself doing what you don’t want to be doing you are not alone.  Paul, who wrote a many of he books in the new testament is talking about his struggle in this verse.  I too want to stay on the path of the Spiritual life and sometimes find myself doing what I don’t want to.  That is why thinking in terms of picking up our cross daily, and dieing to the flesh daily are phrases you want to hold close and keep top of mind.

Jesus sacrificed his life so that we may live life in its fullness.  He knows of the humanly struggles and overcame them.  As often as possible you must remember that His grace is new each day.  You don’t have to stay in defeat, failure, depression because Jesus paid the price for our struggles.  Each day you have a choice to NOT do what you hate to do.  But if you find yourself once again doing what you do not want to do, simply STOP and ask for God’s help to get back on track.

You have the ability to pray, to forgive, to release and let go of the things that hold you back.  God’s scorecard says “I love you and believe in you!”  It says, “you are set free and forgiven.”Thus, go forward forgiven and forgive others just like God has done for you!

LORD YOUR FORGIVENESS IS FILLED WITH SO MUCH PURE LOVE.  I WANT TO LIVE AND GIVE THAT KIND OF LOVE.  IN THE MOMENTS I AM NOT DOING WHAT I WANT TO BE DOING I WILL STOP AND BREATHE IN YOUR LOVE AND MOVE FORWARD AGAIN REFRESHED IN YOU AND LET GO OF MY LAPSES SPENT AWAY FROM YOU.

*Meditate, pray or affirm the words in BOLD or that are highlighted!  Look for short daily messages from me to spread seeds of hope, encouragement, and expansion of your mind, body and spirit daily!
