"About my house...

'What I've loved most about this home is how great it was to raise 2 children who are now grown with children of their own.

One block away is a well maintained little park with brand new climbing equipment and swings. The park was also the site of an annual 4th of July event where all of the neighborhood children would decorate their bikes and compete for prizes in many different categories and age groups.

The annual holiday tree lighting was always a highlight of the year. The large tree at the corner of Kingston and Windsor Rds is decorated every year by a cadre of volunteers led by a local tree company and their big crane trucks.

On the eve of the lighting, the neighbors gather around, drink hot chocolate, and Santa rides through the neighborhood atop a fire truck from the nearby Pikesville Volunteer Fire Dept.

The large deck off the den was the site of nearly all of our meals in the warm months. We filled it with potted plants, trees, flowering plants, and a grill to create a relaxing oasis. After 35 years of faithful use, it began to show its age and was completely rebuilt this year, now ready for another generation of enjoyment.

The house was built as a 4 bedroom with two on each floor. We removed a wall from one on the first floor to create an open, flowing large living room and den which opens to the deck, but it could easily and inexpensively be converted back to a bedroom to suit your needs.''
