Deuteronomy 28:13
“The Lord will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the Lord your God that I give you this day and carefully follow hem, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom.”
One of the interesting things about life is that many people are “trying to make it to the top.” We see this in business, in athletics, or other areas that are achievement driven. Did you realize that if you pay attention the the commands of the Lord you will always be at the top? What does that really mean for you?
I look at is that we are always the apple of God’s eye. That God will not love us any more or less based on what we achieve. That LOVE is always there. I also look at it as having the faith to know that our needs will always be supplied, that there will always be a way, even when a situation does not look great, that the Lord will bring us into victory.
Victory in a heavenly sense is different than a worldly sense. Many of the times its is paying attention and listing to the Lord’s commands and promptings. Sometimes those promptings and whispers don’t always make sense. Sometimes they are things we don’t really want to do. Yet as we choose to follow them we will always be on top!
LORD HELP ME TO MAKE THE CHOICE I DESIRE TO MAKE, WHICH IS CHOOSING YOU, FOLLOWING YOUR COMMANDS, LISTENING TO YOUR CALL AND LOVING AS YOU HAVE LOVED ME!
