The "L" word
If we think loving thoughts, thoughts that are the opposite of fear, we will create loving outcomes.
Okay, so apparently it is taboo to talk about this. But I feel like breaking some rules and so today we are going to talk about something they say we should not. Today we are talking about the “L” word. Yes, we are talking about love.
“Love expands. Fear contracts. There is no question to which love is not the answer.” “There is only love and fear. And fear is not real” The number one most frequent command in the Bible (over 200 times) is “fear not”. In fact in 1 Corinthians 16:14 it says, “Do everything in love”.
First, as we have said before, be committed to the experience that you are in. Be there now – not the past or the future.
Next let us start to view the world in love. As it has been said, “hurt people hurt people”. When someone comes at you with anger or another expression of fear, see them as someone with a sign on them that says, “I’m afraid”. As Dr. Phil has said numerous times, “Someone’s got to step up and be the hero.”
Going back to some of the earlier concepts, trance is the noncritical acceptance of ideas or concepts. What you believe is true – nothing else. What we focus on expands. Ever single thought that you hold in your mind has a physical effect on the body. The quality of our lives is the quality of our communication. Both with ourselves and with the outside world.
So now, apply love to all of these ideas and concepts. What if you acted as if it was true? Remember that if you hold a thought in your mind strong enough, it produces a physical reaction in your body that people can read and they respond as if it was true. So what if your thought was “People love doing business with me”? As you focus on that thought, it expands, your mind seeks validation and finally you create that snowball momentum.
Each step that you take is like walking up a set of stairs. Every time you go up one step you can see another step that you couldn’t see before. Possibilities exist ahead of you that you may not be aware of today. Just take one step at a time and you will see what you may not imagine now.
What we think will govern what we do with the outside world. If we think loving thoughts, thoughts that are the opposite of fear, we will create loving outcomes. We have to believe before it occurs in order for it to occur (that’s why we needed the commitment from yesterday.
