For this Spring semester at Texas A&M enrollment is up a robust 2%. That means 826 more students attending, translating into 826 new rooms rented, or 200 plus homes bought, 826 weekly meals out, 826 shiney new rings issued a few years from now and a whole lot of great things coming to College Station.
The sky is the limit on this town with it's already excellent growth rate and a homey atmosphere that Ags and residents love. Currently we have many business interests coming to town and a increased enrollment, both contributing to the growth of this vibrant community.
One of the more exciting trends currently in the area is growth in the higher paying research and development sector. For many years one of the factors that handicapped our area was low wages and this trend seems to be reversing with excellent jobs with commiserate pay moving to be close to the research facilities and all the benefits of being close to a major university.
