Music for 1/28/21 - Florida

Florida is our last stop around the states, Hawaii and Alaska will have to wait till we manage a trip there. The state song is one you might recognize, I remember learning this in choir in school.

Hello Nick - there are many thoughts that come to mind when I hear "Florida".  Fortunately, I will not sing(or otherwise express) them here.  Although I was previously aware of the song, I wasn't aware that it was the state song.

Nina Hollander I remember so clearly learning and singing that song in school a long, long time ago.

Roy Kelley stay warm, a little bitter out there in Maryland compared to Florida.

Michael Jacobs I have been surprised by several states State Song selection, and this was another that made go Wow! Really!.

Brian England the music is diverse with lots of influence from Cuba, not that it was obvious from my choices, in what you hear when you are there.

Rocky Dickerson I was nver a big watcher of that, but I know what I will be feautring when we get to Hawaii....
