We are happy to report that it does rain in California. And we are loving it. Pictured above is our view behind the windshield of our car as Ron was driving us to an appointment. We are expecting even more rain tomorrow...

Good morning again, Alexandra... I'm always taken aback a bit by how excited people in California become when it rains... I certainly understand why. Here in Charlotte we've had rain on and off for days... and that's unusual for us and most of us are sick of it. We are not excited! :)

We are glad that our hills were burned during the big fire, because native vegetation is back, and the native stuff is a fire retardant.
