About once a week I like to take a small portion of an online course at Success University and share it.  This is a Brian Tracy course on sales. This one really hit me as a great bit to share.  I have came a long ways in this area and can go further, and I know there are a lot of people in Real Estate and related fields that need to hear this one.

"The biggest mistake you can ever make is to think that you work for anyone else but yourself. We are all self-employed."
Brian Tracy

The highest paid sales professionals accept 100 percent responsibility for their own lives. They don't make excuses or blame others for things that aren't working in their lives. They also aren't in the habit of complaining or criticizing others.

One benefit of this behavior is that you respect yourself more when you accept responsibility. And, you already know the outcome of respecting yourself more - you become more positive and optimistic. And you already know what happens when you are more positive and optimistic - you sell more. You make more money - you become unstoppable.

Acceptance of responsibility is part of great mental health. It also creates an attitude of openness to improvement in your own performance. It makes you the "boss" of your own company: You, Inc. If you want to make more money, look in the mirror and negotiate with the boss about how you'll get it. This is the beginning of taking complete control over your life, your career and your future. It's the first step to getting into the fasts track and becoming a sales superstar!

"When you practice thinking, all day long, the way that the top people think, you will eventually do the same things and get the same results that the top people get."
Brian Tracy

Goot perspective.  If you aren't a broker with your own company, you should do everything to make sure you are promoting your name (rather than your team).  This includes your own domain, and keeping your own listings on your own pages like you are doing - but not giving them to other agents for content that will compete with your site getting found.  I went to your site and I'll be linking to it from the towns I saw your personal listings in: Anoka, Becker, Big Lake, Blaine, Elk River, Princeton, St Francis, Zimmerman, MN. (check for type-os in a little while REindex.com)

Happy Selling and Listing!

It is so important that we ask independent contracts 'own' everything we do.  No excuses!  Thanks for the reminder.
