It all started with ActiveRain.... NC Girls Getaway.... I tend to get mushy with these things - I'll do my best not to :)

Last week was a highlight of one of the best times in my life lately. Over the past year, I've been a member of ActiveRain, forming friendship and bonds that I know will last a lifetime. Twitter helped us bond even closer, and one step further, SKYPE allowed for some late night ::Clinks:: . 

One evening about two months ago, a few of us were on SKYPE (Twitter was down), chatting as we do, and Desiree came up with a great idea - let's get together!

She was gracious and planned an excursion for us all to meet at her mountain home in NC. I called "Area 54" cause we had a "NO BOYZ ALLOWED" rule and I didn't want to hear rocks at the windows late at night (thanks, Heather). 

What a great time! Who would have thought that some people who live inside our computer (I know, that's Teresa's phrase) could go away for 4 nights, sleep in the same beds, wake up with no-makeup faces (some grumbles) until coffee was made, and have the BEST TIME EVER ?? !!

Here are some of my recollections:

• Running to meet Sarah/Heather and Diane at the gate (almost missing both of them)
• Walking with Missy - not an easy walk up that mountain!
• Me messing up Ant's name. She isn't Annette, she's Antoinette!!!
• Food, food, food - oh my!
• Pictures, pictures, pictures - we went the same places, but our eyes saw very different things
• Real Estate - The topic often - lots of brainstorming ideas, sharing of business plans.
• "What happens in NC, stays in NC" (that's some 'can't say' stuff)
• Friday morning, Friday night, Saturday morning I worked on the Makeover2Takeover assignment and heard the giggles from the other room :(  (At least we continue!)
• Politics between two - glad Dez was in the middle and not me ! Phew!
• Heather makes some YUMMY Margaritas - and she has good taste in Tequila!
• Coffee Machine to die for
• Clinking in person for coffee and evenings!
• ((HUGGA)) ((HUGGA))
• The Wrinkled Egg - what a great store!
• A stop by a Farmer's Market
• The Biltmore House - we tried to comp it - but at 4 acres INSIDE it was a tough one
• Did I take that picture INSIDE? oops.
• Shall we stop by the Lagoon Missy?
• Limo Driver was filling us in on the local Real Estate market and what is for sale.
• Hooka?
• Don't wake someone up !
• We didn't see Bear, but apparently there are lots.
• Other clubs? What were they called again? What a shame.
• Who are we missing? Ant & Missy, of course!!!!! 
• MMMISSSY CAULK!!   DESSSSIREEE DANIELS!!! (Hear me?)
• Charlie's Angels? What?
