If you enjoy watching birds, please consider being part of this year's Great Backyard Bird Count.
It takes place February 12-15 (Friday-Monday).
All that is required is a minimum of 15 minutes per day of bird watching and recording your observations on the website that is hosting the yearly count.
All levels of bird knowledge are very welcomed.
This event helps those who study birds to get a picture of the happenings and health of birds in North America, and around the world.
According to the info page for the Count, "bird populations are shifting" and the more people who participate in this yearly event, the better a picture there is of this "annual snapshot of the distribution and abundance of birds".
To find out more and to register for the Count please check out this site:
Thank you in advance if you participate!
Happy BIrding!
