Decisions.  Decisions. . .

It’s understandable, at least to me, that people are thinking about decision-making a lot these days.

However, let’s face it, decisions are something that face us each day - and many moments within that day.   Some of those decisions are of greater significance while others can be thought of as made subconsciously.  For some, it may seem like an unconscious action.  I digress(yes, that happens even when I snooze or drift off for a moment).

Whether it be rare or more commonplace, decisions remain a known part and a constant in life.   Turning right. Or left.  This or that.  It doesn’t need to be thoughts of a global concern to send me off on a search of quotes.

As I take that journey, I go rabbit hole searching as I seek additional knowledge/insight of the author of the quote.  I admit context isn't considered. After all, this is a blog post and not a thesis. So today’s quotes are from another varied group.

Some may say one of these chosen quotes is from one who has been considered a hyphenate of consequence.  Others include a sports journalist, a United States Senator, a young chess champion and a drag queen.

Yes, and the quotes were chosen somewhat randomly on this Presidents' Day weekend.  Because I am thinking about decisions.  Previously made, in process and yet-to-come.  Each matters.

We need to accept

that we won’t make the right decisions

that we’ll screw up royally sometimes -

I apologize for the formatting issue with this post. That decision to move forward was made by me. I may not like the result but accept it and have made the decision to move on to the next project. The image in this post is from canstockphoto.com.

Hello Brian - thank you for the reblog.  While I think my handwriting was typically legible(enough) in the past, pen and paper are not usually the most effective way of communication.  That said, even as my clumsy fingers hit the keyboard the thoughts and words can be jumbled.  It's another decision in the course of a day...    I appreciate your sharing of my post.

Brian,

I am a huge fan of Michael Jacobs posts, and I do ponder quite often, but I refer to it as cogitating, or musing.  A

A worthy re-blog and still a lot to ponder.  If only I could make smart decisions while the mind is relaxing.
