Ya Gotta Problem. . .

Ya Gotta Problem With Dat. . .

Let’s be clear.  I can’t do an impression or impersonation of anyone.  It’s barely conceivable that I can effectively communicate here or in the real world.

That said, imagine this post title spoken by a noir esque character in an old black and white movie.   Ya Gotta Problem With Dat?

The other day, I was reading an article which was comparing reactions to certain issues that have faced our country over the last twenty or so years.  Financial.  Terroism.  The pandemic.

The article discussed comparisons as well as contrasts in how we face these various times.  Before, as each occurred in the moment and once they are in the rear view mirror.  Of course, the impact of the current pandemic remains with us today so a look back may be a bit premature.  But isn’t it true, that history in some aspects is living?

We can still use a bit of hindsight to foretell the future.  Even if it’s just an inkling.

Although I was interested in the article, my mind wandered to the end.   Sure, I know there are reasons behind-the-story but I was looking for a quick and neatly tied-up version to satisfy my immediate curiosity in the topic.

There are times when I want(maybe even need) the entire story.  Sometimes it’s less.  And that’s okay because in the beginning, during and in the end, I am rooting for the good guys.

I am one of your number one fans when it comes to reading your perspective of any topic. I might not have thought of that is my typical thought.

Your magic is that you made me think to begin with Michael Jacobs

Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS - thank you for those very kind words. Perhaps it's more sleight of hand than any magic.

Morning Michael.

I can remember when wearing the badge meant you were the good guy/gal.  Now, with the media being what it is, not so much.

Hi Michael Jacobs - we need hindsight so that we can learn the lessons and right now we are in the middle of it.

I sometimes too like to get to the point. Long, drawn out descriptions can be such a bore.

Some great points made here. I must admit, I already do look at the pandemic as a 2020 issue. For me, in 2021 it's as much a part of normal life as our CA wild fires and earthquakes. It's not a factor in my day, my attitude nor my life as I look back on 2020 with pride, I know I'm doing my best with empathy for the rest, but moving forward living my life.

Endre Barath, Jr. - I believe wondering is a powerful part of life.  Wandering too.  Of course, there is a time and place for each as well as gratification.  Immediate and otherwise.

Roy Kelley - I hope your area is warm up a bit.  Have a nice Friday and weekend.

Thomas J. Nelson, REALTOR ® e-Pro CRS RCS-D Vets - it's rather amazing how quickly we adjust and adapt at times.  Whether it be seatbelts or mask-wearing.  There are many examples.

Selling Homes Changing Lives

Michael Jacobs - When I think about comparing and contrasting current issues that fundamentally changed in a NY minute, unless I was the one in total control and I had something to do with the mission, objective or participated in the strategy (which I'm not) I don't know how mentally prepared I could have been to circumvent the situation. To the masses of people involved in whatever happened, I can't think of anyone who would say, "You gotta problem with dat." But their actions will be self-evident.

Perhaps, just maybe every new adventure in life in which we have no control is a battlefield. 80% may suffer; some will survive. Other will make money and gain more control over others. And that's all I can say about that...
